“ The menu choices are all so tempting! I had a BBQ brisket grilled cheese sandwich, it was amazing. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. The young man delivering the meals was also cheerful and on the ball. Our adult son who lives in the area goes once a week. It’s a hidden gem. ”

“ Great place, good food, good service, nice atmosphere, fair prices. There regular menu is good and the specials are outstanding, very creative. Staff is wonderful, friendly, courteous, fun place. They just started Prime Rib Wednesdays it was great, good menu, cooked perfectly at a reasonable price. We recommend Public House 23 to anyone. ”

“ Everything was great about this place. We originally were going to hit up Pam’s bun on the run because I haven’t been there in over 30 years. Unfortunately, she was sick, but on the much brighter side, we found this GEM! The service was wonderful the garlic Parmesan $.75 each wings were delicious. The side salad was nice and crisp and my drink with the basil Hayden‘s toast old-fashioned was absolutely amazing. I do think they forgot the cardamom’s on my drink however, I did not miss it seeing how I have never had it with it . Will definitely stop back in if I’m ever in the area again. ”

“ This is typical bar and grill, but it is very good. All these years I simply passed by but never went in, I will be going back. My only issue is that it can be a little loud and roucous at night. Seems like a bit of a neighborhood hangout with folks of all ages. I had their chicken pub sandwich with onion rings and a beer - it was very good. I should mention that their brownie Sundae is also excellent. Slightly crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. ”

“ One of our favorite places to eat in the Hudson Valley. Whether it's takeout or dine in, the food is always prepared to your liking. The online ordering for take out makes it so easy to get your favorite meal. The wings are top notch! Love visiting all the staff too. ”

“ This is a great local pub/bar! We started with mozzarella sticks which were perfectly crispy and not oily or overdone, and their Mac and cheese was so flavorful with the types of cheeses as well as finished with a nice crumbling on top. We heard their wings were delicious, so we tried so many flavors- the teriyaki, Kevin's wings and the spicy bbq. All of them on boneless wings and we will be back to try more of the flavors! The drinks were great and plenty of good beers on tap to try. we ended the night with a skillet cookie which was goos- but I just wish it was a little thicker. Great friendly service and staff, clean environment - can't wait to return and try more of the menu. ”

“ Had dinner tonight, the Prime Rib special was excellent. Add it to my list of favorites the wings, and the best mac and cheese. Every seat in the house was full. The service was great. Definitely will be back and highly recommend them. ”
